| Post subject: Bucks & MM agree on one thing |  |
|
Saw an interview starting with MM stating essendopers can't hold the competition to ransom over there players awaiting the AFL verdict.
Bucks then followed it up agreeing the AFL must protect the game firstly then enforce all the rules governing the game.
Bottom line essendopers are apparently trying to force the AFL not to punish the players at all other than preseason games.
Every club needs ensure the AFL punishes the cheaters properly |

| I think it was interesting that they only showed the coaches of the other two clubs that make up the Big 3 criticising Essendon. Something strategic going on there. |

So, are any Dons players now suspended over this fiasco, if so, whom, and who can they be replace with in the short term interim ??

Essendon players involved in the saga in 2012 whether they're at different clubs or not will not be participating in the NAB Challenge matches but anything beyond that no one really knows PNC.
One way or another this whole saga needs to be dealt with once and for all. It's been two years since it all came to light.

This whole thing has got out of hand. So what! They took a few herbal pills that gave them no competitive advantage that I could see on the field; and everyone is crying foul. I hate Essendon, but I also hate to see a fine Club and champion Coach destroyed over something so minor. Its a big beat up. I agree with Bucks though. We need to now get on with it and stop having this beat up distract from the competition. Let bygones be bygones I say. Herbal tablets and other un tested sugar injections are going to do no more harm the viagra. Lets stop playing along with this media beat up.

Hiss I personally think that Hird's actions and the actions of some members of the Essendon football club are more insidious than what you believe. Like many I am sick of the whole saga. I think that Hird's court actions are an attempt to invalidate the findings by an error in process. He is not challenging what he thinks the results are but how they were achieved. If he was not concerned about the findings why would he challenge like he has? |

If you think it's just a few herbal pills you're dreaming Hiss!! 
Like yourself I hate Essendon but they are not a fine club as they've now demonstrated and golden boy isn't a charismatic and admirable individual. If he was he would have admitted his mistakes and realised that for the sake of the wider game and his own football club that he should cooperate with ASADA but instead he has taken them to court and attempted to stop their investigations and establish their findings and not once has he admitted any wrongdoing even if the evidence says otherwise. If he's got nothing to hide why be so hesitant about the investigation?
So no I have no sympathy for Essendon and James Hird. They're a troubled club and will forever be tainted until Hird is no longer coach, anyone involved in the supplements saga is gone and the club as a whole can admit its wrongdoing and move forward with a new outlook and direction. Until then they'll be a joke to the rest of the competition!

Bucks and MM agree on many things, they went through football wars together, like it or not a lot of Buckleys knowledge was taught to him by the great Man.
Say what you like about the latter days, but fact is that was only a small % of their football relationship.
