Given the father, one imagines that they were expecting an Orangutan, or possibly a cross between HAL and a Flamingo, but his mother's blood won out and they ended up with a small human instead. Not a bad result. _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |

To an extent, NJ—I guess I was prepared for the loss of sleep and lack of freedom, but I had no idea what a cutie he'd be. Talking to other parents, it seems like he's a pretty good baby; quite relaxed and sleeping well. He's going to be pretty tall, too! _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Nice to hear David. Soak up every little bit of it. Not much in life will bring you as much joy and fulfillment...and frustration... |

i await the sharent in you to come out.
stui, your good deed is somewhat a qualified one. not truly alturistic but are acts of charity truly alturistic? having said that, not everyone would even be prepared to help in te forst instance, they'd rather get annoyed and irritated by the situation. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

Ha, good point, JW. I hadn't considered the philosophical implications of this topic. What constitutes a "good" deed? Does it matter if Stui had ulterior motives or was acting altruistically?
I would say it's good to help random people if you can see they're struggling. Not because it's altruistic or because it makes you a better person, but because the end result is better for everyone. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |
