We don't need to turn everyone into a midfielder, but having the option helps.

One description of the Collingwood 2010 Premiership team has stuck with me, for right or wrong;

"A team of Ruck Rovers"

THose old enough to remember when that term meant something might relate. Basically we had a team of a handful of KPP players, a Ruck and the rest were ruck rovers who could play midfield and back, or midfield and forward.

Look at our present list. We're on track.
