the anticipation of watching something grow into something special is a nice journey to take.

Yep. I'm looking forward to watching this young crop grow.

I second that! I think with a young crop of players there's a lot to be excited about heading into the future.

Hasn't been such a talented crop of youngsters at the Pies for quite some time - exciting to watch them grow and blossom.

Some players can be drafted and have a long time in the game while others
exposed early fade.
1999 No.1 Josh Fraser
2000 " " Nick Reiwolt
2001 " " Luke Hodge (think Bally same yr)
Two No.1, s had body to stand the rigors
Our Josh had a shorter time at top level
and there was conjecture we "threw him in"
But advancements in training/sport science
has improved since 2000
Up to the club to forsee (or try to) monitor individuals

Scott brothers are sooky dipshits

Scott brothers hey, well they were smartass boys at St Kevin's and nothing has changed...always have an answer to every question no matter how stupid they look.

Both demonstrate a lack of maturity. Is paying 450k for someone who just missed their B&F by one vote whilst paying they same for Higgins and probably similar for dud Waite irresponsible? Come on, seriously.

They did have a reputation at Skevs for being smart footballers and tough. The loss to Norf of Levi seems to be a strange move and hard to justify but I would suggest there is more to it.

I must admit that I think the Scotts have presented themselves well for young coaches and it would be naive to discount their smarts. Being a smart ass is part of who they are.
