Harry was interveiwed after training and explain that his working relations
with Nathan completely broke down.
He went on to say that he considered pushing on at the club or moving on
Well he has and taking a shot at an individual i,m not sure about
He says he wears his heart on his sleeve
Hope those sleeves are big enough to soak up the tears of frustration that lie ahead
living a footy life in a cellar

Hope the Prince gets used to seeing the ball float over his head and through the goals, because the Dees are still a rabble.

We might have to get used to it as well considering the quality of defenders we've lost over the last 2-3 years, Benny-Harry-Maxy-Heater types don't grow on trees.

I,m not dismissing his ability which i hard to replace but
replace it we must.
Just dissapointed that he singled some one out that was in his veiw hard to
work with
Of course he himself was a joy to work with maybe
The publicised confrontation had some of his team mates not on his page
Who knows maybe a few of them doubted his approach

I listened to the interview, Harry was excellent, he didn't bag anyone at the club and he'll always be a Collingwood man.

Harry as an individual seems a little uncertain about things and I believe we guided him towards the exit door, hopefully a win win for both parties.

Good luck to him.

ps. I still think we didn't get enough for him

Did he take responsibility for the breakdown in relationships? I am sure the situation had more to do with Harry's attitude, comments and inappropriate behaviour than that of Nathan. If anything Nathan is the consummate profession in this area. It is part of his personality and is part of his base make up.

When you deal with the Harry's of this world you get to a point where enough is enough and you tell them to tow the line or else. I would suspect it reached that stage and Harry was unwilling to comply.

He is now part of our history and was a good contributor to our 2010 Premiership.

It really is a Harry - who? moment.

Dont believe he bagged anyone that person being the coach
I guess all people handle things their own way and am sure he
would have respected Nathan as a football person
And I admit tho parts of interveiw i disagreed with he was forthright

Harry was a champion player and a magnificent human being. He stood for all that is right in the world and was prepared to question our failing on field performance. He led by example and tried to show others what it means to put in 100% on field and off. We just couldn't accept that a legitimate champion could have a differing point of view. Like MM he was given the arse. What does this say about our treatment of Club heroes like MM who won us a flag and Harry who worked endlessly to raise the profile of human rights and the plight of the indigenous players? We sack em because we have such a winning on field formula that is clearly not needing anyone who speaks their mind. Hope he wins a Brownlow at Melbourne and sticks it right up us for getting rid of him. I call on all Pies fans to give him a standing ovation when we play the Dees.

We didn't sack him. He sacked himself by becoming a pain in the arse under Nathan Buckley. He needed a change of environment by going to Melbourne. We needed a break from his antics. We got the equivalent of a second round draft pick which enabled us to get Varcoe. The way I see it everybody wins.

Does anyone have a link. I'll reserve my comment till I've heard Harry's words directly.

Actually sounded like a flog TBH, now I can see why most opposition supporters thought the same thing.

Since when will all of you begin to realise that he is not 'Harry'? He's Heritier (Her-et-ia) these days. Get with the program & times you fools.
