The unfortunate thing is Dave, there are people out there who are complete and utter dick brains, who need to be told these things.
99.99% of people out there will see those guidelines as something they follow anyway. But that 0.01% are the ones who generally **** it up for everybody. |

What's the problem? Look pretty straight forward to me as guidelines/rules. Wish I lived In Melbourne. I'd be in. |

Looks fair to me. I certainly do not want to see representatives of the club in the form of the Cheer Squad behaving in an inappropriate manner that cast the clubs and its members in a bad light. _________________ Now Retired - Every Day Is A Saturday |

They are a joke!
Belongs to the text anti behaviour to...
Can't speak to the media without club permission?
Get a working with children's check?
Does that mean in future that all supporters
who go to a game of footy should get the check?
This is typical of Australia 2014.
Complete overkill in trying to cover
any, no matter how remote issue that may arise.
I like the last one, after about 20 conditions
have fun!!!!!

Does that mean that Joffa has to get permission
to talk to the media? _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |

I'm with thompsoc on this. One might well wonder how loud, passionate cheersquads ever existed in the past. A working with children check is clearly ridiculous—how is sitting in the cheersquad any different to sitting on a train or going to an all ages music concert? As for the abuse, I understand not wanting fans to bag players or use inappropriate language in front of children, but these restrictions will make the cheer squad quieter and more hesitant. It's just basic human psychology. Better to ban under 16s from the cheersquad area, imho.
As for not wanting them to talk to the media, what a load of rubbish. Authoritarianism knows no bounds. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

perhaps you should make an effort to understand why but, of course, it's easy to make an uninformed judgements, isn't it? _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle.
