Speculation from 2 media sources namely:

J Ralph
G Denham

suggest the Pies are seeking the return of Graeme Allan to the club. If so, this would be a great coup. Interestingly at the after match 2010 GF replay function at Crown Palladium, Gubby was an attendee (Adam Cooney style) despite his core role at GWS.

Would be a good get as he is a real "footy admin scrapper" whom has a solid history of snaring players, lying when necessary and has a stance/standard about how a footy club should acquit itself. With respect to Eade, he is a footy tragic and not a man turned on by "TPS REPORTS"!

Love Gubby Allen. Well - not since he went to the Brions, but I loved him as a player and "hated" him as an administrator because he seemed to be successful....

Would be a great get indeed, his (Allen) worth is measured I think in the way he dealt with Collingwood in the Beams trade. "We won't trade a talented kid" was his mantra. He stuck firm to this and Brisbane got their man without having to sell the farm. We need a man like that back at Collingwood.

Fantastic if true.

I'll never forget him breaking his hand when he punched an Essendon trainer during the quarter time brawl in our glorious 1990 Grand final.

How much influence does someone like him or Walsh have in terms of turning a good side into a premiership team anyway?

The senior coach and head recruiter would be the most important, followed by the fitness and medical staff surely.

Not saying I don't want him but I doubt his presence will make bucks a better coach in 2015 or reduce our injuries.

Cannot argue with his record. Us in 1990 and in Brisbane. Premiership success is something that does seem to go with him. He's ruthless so get him.
