great idea but until they improve the free wifi or even the mobile network connectivity at the likes of the mcg and etihad these apps are ineffective. i recently read somewhere the stadiums are going to strengthen their wifi capability but we'll believe it when we see it.
melb heart created "heart zone" which you can connect to aami park's wifi. you can then enter into comps and vote for the best player while at the game. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

It seems the AFL sides in general have yet to really get as active as some other sports when it comes to doing the apps, and social networking. The Victory used to have an app where you scanned something to find a place in the stadium to win prizes.
I am not sure if that still happens I've not seen them promote it for a couple of seasons, but that's something the AFL clubs haven't yet caught onto, nor the getting more interactive with the fans.
S'pose most sports in Australia have yet to really get interactive with their social media, and apps. _________________ Đavâgé

Telstra have admitted their signal in the stadium is sub par and are working on a solution.
I also read somewhere that the MCG are working on a WiFi solution too.
The issue is all the $Ł$%^%%$ concrete blocking reception. |
