Obviously Reid is the type of player who we can move around, back or forward, but I'd like to hear where my fellow Nicksters think we should mainly play Reid next season.

I think with Keeffe, Brown and Frost we've got enough KP defenders, but we desperately need another major KP forward to bring the best out in Cloke. For that reason, I'd prefer to see us plan to use Reid predominantly up forward in 2015.

Forward.

Brown (if he remains fit)
Keeffe
Frost

As you said they're all your talls down back.

CHF is a problem for us. White is not the answer. Reid can do it. And having Witts/Grundy, we are in a position to rotate players around if we need to.

Until Moore (or Wright?) is ready, I would play Reid forward, because until then we do not have a decent KPF to partner Trav.

I used to be undecided, but now I'm not so sure.

I think he is a better CHB than forward, however given our surplus of tall defenders at the moment, I think we should persist with him forward. I know it's going back years now, but Keeffe playing that CHB role looked awesome, with Frost and Brown to man up the two best opposition forwards.

Reid should play CHF for now, when fit he is much better than White or Keefe in that position.

However his best role is as a CHB, I guess we have to wait for Cameron before we move Ben down back again.

I'm glad this poll was created. I was all for trialling Reid at CHF after we lost Dawes because I felt that neither Lynch nor White were able to provide cover and Reid was the best option at CHF. However now I feel, it's better to move Reid down back because we can't afford to have him out injured again. There's less turning at CHB, so less chance of leg injuries I figure. White has had one year getting used to his team mates at Collingwood, so next year I'm expecting him to start performing. If he doesn't we have other options at CHF including Moore, Karnezis and Gault. Another option is to move Keeffe to the forward line and continue his education as a another ruck/forward option.

Forward.

he was recruited as a forward, went back to great success after having the yips kicking for goal, now it's time to do what he was hired to do - play forward and kick goals.

We really miss his foot skills down back, but he's the second best KF we have so that's where he should play, I'd like to see White turned into a defender.

Forwards win games. Defenders just take the credit when their opponent has a bad day. So forward.

Who knows?

He looked really good up forward when played there in parts in 2013 but this season showed little when he did return albeit he was horribly underdone.

A lot will depend on the availability and form of others to which end we see him more at next year I suspect.

Massive year for both Reid and Brown next season.

Getting them both fit and in form at the one time will make our chances of returning to finals all the more likely.

It feels like forever since we've seen that.
