Mark Stevens is apparently reporting Eade is favoured for the GC job, so chances are we'll be looking for a new 'What ever it is what the **** he did' ASAP, maybe the injury update workload was to much for him to handle? _________________ Defender...........

Anything is possible in life but i always felt that Rocket was enjoying life without the stress of being a principle coach and that he would be reluctant to go in that direction again. _________________ Now Retired - Every Day Is A Saturday |

He has unfinished business to attend too, and the GC job is currently the hottest job in the history of the AFL IMO, he's almost guaranteed success. _________________ Defender...........

Seemed to be loving life with the Pies, but sometimes that fire just burns I guess. Wish him luck whatever he does, but it just didn't sit right with him in the Pies get up. Renowned Collingwood hater from what I heard. |

To be fair he hated anyone he wasn't coaching at the time, he certainly was never one for giving the opposing team compliments that's for sure, but I like that! _________________ Defender...........

Didn't he already turn it down? Said his daughter is doing VCE this year, plus he said he loves his role at the Westpac Centre. Can't find the source but I 100% read that a week or two ago. |

you are correct az. even with those words of assurance, if the right offer was thrust in front of him then he'd be silly not to consider it.
today, ralph malph was on sen saying the same thing as stevens (and also caro) about eade shortening as favourite. they would be closer to the pulse but it seems a game of deduction and eade is almost last man standing in terms of gcs' stated criteria for a coach. that said, it's similar to the crows' and look who they ultimately selected. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

Yeah, it was KB's opening on Thursday am saying GCS had to get Eade, that was followed by the other clown doing special comments on KB's show.
Who knows. His wife has a business down here although I think it's an internet business requiring storage & shipment etc. which I suspect is transportable. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

OK !!! Lets imagine that rumour is really fact.
We have some experience of late waving people goodbye
Right so we now have a vacancy previously fill by a football person
And we have very recently retired football people and good people at that
Would the Balls or Maxwells be ready or do we bring in some one who is
a football person with off field experience.
Not putting him up but just as an example --Brendan Sanderson (or the like)
Any opinions???? _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

Brenton Sanderson will turn-up at Collingwood in some capacity next year.
If Eade leaves he is the man Buckley will want. |

If we want Dangerfield, would there be much sense in appointing Sanderson to the coaching staff? I don't know the answer to that question, I'm just posing it. |

Coop.
'Flying the coup' implies that he is leading a rebellion against Bucks.
Of course it's mostly you trying to 'fly the coup'... _________________ they can smell what we're cookin' |

I have heard nothing. Just the title of this thread.
A coup is an attempted military overthrow of the current government, is it not?
Let's not have this turn into a rumour mate...Buckley is, in fact, the messiah... _________________ they can smell what we're cookin' |
