the 2015 draw/fixture is released on thursday week (30th). what are you hoping for?

it'd be nice to see us not having to play hawthorn twice but to be the best you have to be able to beat them. i don't think there will be too many easy games so it probably matters little whom we play twice.

Ok let's start with no twilight Sunday games...

The usual 1 interstate trip in each state.

GCS, GWS at the G, StK x2 Bulldogs x2 Dees x2 Bris x2, Hawks, Syd, Freo once, Scum, Esse, Rich x2.

Less games at roof stadium, more Sat arvo games....and a soft last game of the year.

Having said all that, we aren't a chance next year so don't really care...finish near the bottom and be in a strong bargaining possie for trades.

Load up for 2016.

Last year we finished in the middle 6, and carlton finished in the top 6, which should have meant they got the tougher draw. They didn't.

I'd like to see us get a draw which accurately reflects our 11th place finish and gives us double up matches against St Kilda and Melbourne and NOT Hawthorn.

Every now and again it'd be nice if there was a game at 2pm on Saturday at the MCG.

Not holding breath

That won't happen, since we are legally allowed to play 14 games at the G as per the MCC agreement & arrangement, with the remaining games in Melbourne (3) played at Etihad Stadium.

That's fine, just don't play our home games against Etihad tenants at Etihad. There are 8 interstate teams and a few Vic teams that fit the bill.

Wishlist:

- 11 MCG home games.

- 3 games at the MCG as the away team. So, with any luck, those will be the Scum, the [REDACTED]s and the Dees on Queen's Birthday. Mind you, I'd prefer a return match against Richmond in preference to one against the Bloozers or the [REDACTED]s, but that won't happen because of the arses on seats rule, so...

- Play Etihad tenants as the away team only. So, 3 games, against the Bulldogs, the Roos and the Saints (they were talking last year about making Pies vs Saints at Etihad a permanent fixture during Indigenous Round, so probably lock that one in anyway)...

- 5 interstate trips (Brisbane is confirmed as one, Sydney at ANZ will almost certainly be another. Of the remainder, hopefully GWS, West Coast and Adelaide).

- Play Hawthorn ONCE. I'm sick of giving these campaigners a guaranteed 8 premiership points every year. Screw them.

- Home games played on Saturday afternoons, Friday nights or Saturday nights ONLY! I don't care about the away games or interstate trips and whatever timeslots you fixture us in for those (well, I do, but I'll compromise on that). Just play our home games in one of the 3 best timeslots for footy! I'd prefer a breakdown of 6 games on Saturday afternoon, 4 on Friday night and 1 on Saturday night, but am open to compromise on that as well...

Having said that, I'm quietly preparing myself for the likelihood of getting precisely NONE of what I'm asking for... Sad

I'm hoping for more 7.40pm Sunday home games. Why mess with a good thing.

The Magpies, whose Anzac Day clash with Essendon comes in round four, will play Carlton in round five in the game which sees its last premiership coach Mick Malthouse - now at the Blues - break the all-time coaching games record. The Magpies have also pushed successfully to play Richmond and the Bombers twice.

This - Why do we play our home Etihad games against teams that call that ground home ffs. It is after all supposed to be our home game & not give us a disadvantage.

Lions can stick it, not getting my money any more. I have been a member of that shitful club the last 3 years. their lack of respect for us has become too great for me to part with any money, they can rot in hell!
