I don't think Varcoe will be that bad personally, might be a little soft but as long as he doesn't butcher the ball I could almost deal with that. |
Really I don't think there are any players at elite AFL level who are truely "soft". Broomhead for example isn't overly robust but I've seen enough to be comfortable that when it's his turn he'll go, and he'll hunt the footy in congestion, and he'll take the hit. Varcoe is at the very extreme though and I don't have the same level of confidence in him. |

| I am happy about Greenwood, but I just can not get my head around Varcoe. If we are rebuilding and we are, go with the draft pick. At least it gives the supporters something to be excited about. As has been said before there is no upside to Varcoe. |

Now that the Trengove deal is off the table for the D's i would be backing out of this deal at a rate of knots. We want the 23 for H or do a direct swap with the Roos and keep our 25..
This will be the saving grace for the Beams trade. |
Can you please explain why the failure of the Trengove trade affects our trading of H. This is a serious request by the way.
