Oxley and Freeman played 0 games between them this year.
Does anyone on here know how they are tracking; will they be able to put in a full pre-season, and so on.

in short, yes. freeman was close to getting a vfl game at the end of the season but the club preferred to take a conservative approach.

I am happy about Freeman getting a full preseason in because I thought his hamstring tear was so bad it was the worse case seen ever, and for him getting on the park was complicated. Im hoping that it is all good now.

At it looks now if we can get Freeman on the park next year and with Shazza off the park because of the ACL at least he can rest his foot somewhat and come back at end of the year, there is some good news to come out of his ACL.

Pardon my ignorance but is Freeman a potentially similar type of player to Beams with the added bonus of leg speed

^^ time will tell if he's a Beams replacement, more likely Greenwood to assume that mantle if the deal gets done.

Looking forward to having both these guys play in 2015, Freemen because he's a high draft pick and it would be nice to get some reward for that investment, Oxley because he showed a bit in 2013. The Ox could be a dark horse to assume the Maxy role in defence.

Not really relevant, but I'm wrapped to see what Marsh can produce in 2015.

Yes mate.

His size and explosive speed was a highlight in a development year for him and I reckon he exceeded expectations without playing a senior game.

He should do so in 2015 and if Freeman comes to the party as well then suddenly we don't look as one paced as we were this year.

How much will Marsh's late season injury interrupt his pre season?

When we look at the list, it's positive. Losing a very good player in Beams is not ideal but we do have some serious goods on the list, just need them fit and firing.
