What a team inspiring game from our captain—mind you he has put together a string of them this season
On that I’d like to see a tally of his marks up to present time

Can I add some of those marks and dash were so much like his dad

Well for starters he’s taken 65 this year, which ranks him #1 at Collingwood and 23rd in the league, 1 behind Daniher and 2 behind Cameron

By comparison Harris Andrews is on 85 and Weitering 80

But 23 of them were contested with ranks him 2nd (=4th) behind H. McKay, C. Curnow and Ballard who are all on 27

Collingwood captain is not a conventional footballer

Recently, Collingwood captain and newly re-anointed All-Australian Darcy Moore found himself speaking Indonesian again. Approached by a classmate in a subject called Indonesia Rising, part of a masters course in international relations he is doing at the University of Melbourne, Moore was pleasantly surprised to find that the difficult language he learned at school and furthered as an undergraduate held up in conversation. Luckily, there was no footy talk to be lost in translation...

In The Age's "Top 50 AFL influencers", Darcy Moore was ranked #9. (Only two current players were ranked higher. One is his teammate, the other Paddy D.)

After watching that interview by Gary Lyon I feel very confident that Darcy Moore will do Collingwood proud during this finals series and provide the leadership of the team that will give Collingwood the best chance of success.

It's 'cos the Pie defensive plan is so aggressive. They push up, counterattack, ignore their oppo. Esp. Darcy.

We need him not on Fritsch. Commentators reckon Melbourne can rig matchups so he's forced to take Fritsch. Dunno why we'd have to allow it...
