Funny he should say that as it contradicts the deal we're trying to get out of the Brions. What are you doing Derek.. |

People take the public utterances of sportsmen/sports coaches too literally.
What someone says in public is not necessarily what they actually intend to do. Let them handle the trade and judge on the final outcome. |

Hine was just on trade radio, didn't say much, other than we're definately interested in Greenwood and there's been no progress on the Beams trade.
Greenwood
Goldsack
Sidebottom
Cox
Broomhead.
Greenwood is a direct replacement for Ball. _________________ Defender...........

He is.
I'd say Greenwood is more to replace Beams, not just from an ability standpoint but a leadership/experience standpoint. In H and Beamer we lose two players who have been in the system for a few years and at different times been involved in the leadership group. |

I feel totally bloody let down mate. I actually feel violated because I trusted his words as being genuinely truthful.
If he was truthful, I don't buy this nonsense that he didn't attend because he would have copped abuse at the Copeland, no way known. He would have been welcomed warmly and even with some sympathy for his situation.
My feelings are now totally compromised, leaning towards anger and apathy. |
