Who's Mandy?
Then again Godley & Creme (10cc wrote - I'm Mandy Fly me)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEQmYRQ7Uxg
Lyrics to I'm Mandy Fly Me
Just like a rollin' stone
I'm outside lookin' in
But if your chance came would you take it
Where on earth do I begin
I'm Mandy fly me
I've often heard her jingle
It's never struck a chord
With a smile as bright as sunshine
She called me through the poster
And welcomed me aboard
She led me she fed me
She read me like a book
But I'm hiding in the small print
Won't you take another look
And take me away
Try me Mandy fly me away
The world was spinning like a ball
And then it wasn't there at all
And as my heart began to fall
I saw her walking on the water
As the sharks were comin' for me
I felt Mandy pull me up give me the kiss of life
Just like the girl in Dr. No No No No
Ah when they pulled me from the wreckage
And her body couldn't be found
Was it in my mind it seems
I had a crazy dream
I told them so but they said no no no no
I found me on a street
And starin' at a wall
If it hadn't have been for Mandy
Her promise up above me
Well I wouldn't be here at all
So if you're travellin' in the sky
Don't be surprised if someone said Hi
I'm Mandy fly me
Mandrax? LSD? Watching an Airline poster about Mandy? _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Ohhh me Me me.
5150, get the bus.
(FWIW I've never actually seen anyone in the full Burqua either. Very few with the mail box slit for eyes (and they were wearing sunnies), mostly see the open face getup.
The Africans really crank it up with colour when they get into it around Heidelberg and Preston. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Head out to Epping, Roxy or Broady then you'll find Mrs Ned Kelly's everwhere. |

I'm actually completely serious when I say I wish people would stop making fun of Tony for that. Absolutely no reason why a middle-aged man should feel uncomfortable wearing swimmers on a beach. That's the trouble with this whole topic, really: whether it be Cory Bernardi, fundamentalist Muslim husbands, political point-scorers, prudes or even jokey fashion police, too many people think they have any business telling other people what they can or can't wear. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Good pick up JW. There was a reference to this article on "Insiders" on the weekend. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

What a fine, lucid article. The burqa is a symbol of patriarchy and oppression that the Left, until now, would never have condoned. The article, however, makes the human reality of the women caught in this crossfire very real. We shod continue to attack the institutions which demand the burqa while treating the women under the shroud with respect. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

That's a really good article.
Woman should have the choice, and that there is what shits me. The way Islamic woman are treated full stop. Like second class citizens. Or maybe third. _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |
