I find this article fascinating for a number of reasons. In a week where Buckley talk and innuendo reached new highs, not a good thing for the beginning of trade period, Caroline Wilson, Chief Football Writer at The Age decides to ask Pendlebury and Elliott about the matter. Really? I don't buy it. I reckon a more likely scenario is that Eddie called in a favour from Caro. Why else would Caro be writing such an article? _________________ After the epic draw comes the decisive knockout!

On a serious note,if Ed is calling in favours from Caro of all people, then things must be pretty bad down at the Westpac centre. |

If things were bad enough for Eddie to try and have Caro write a spin article I think you'd find that Caro would be writing a completely different article altogether.
Love her or hate her, she always goes for the most sensational story possible. |

I thought we all agreed that Ed knocked Caro back at a function and that's where all the frustrated anger comes from? Maybe she finally got her man |

They couldn't have said the opposite.
However, they could have trotted out a bunch of cliches and sounded much less sincere than they did.
Even if it was a performance, it was a good performance which shows that Pendles is growing into his role as captain and Bucks gets some of the credit for that.
So either way it's a tick for Bucks _________________ they can smell what we're cookin' |

I think Mr Jolly and his wife are coming across as a pair of pretty loose units in their representations in the media recently _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |

Do you think I could ever be a premiership ruckman for the club you'd think Jolly would not be enjoying the decline of Collingwood? |

swanny on the radio at the moment, certainly doesn't sound too guarded or troubled by how things are at the westpac centre. even ventured to say that the group feels as close as it has since 2010. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

Fantastic work by Pendles and Jamie.
Those of us who can see the club are working towards great success will enjoy that success more once it comes to fruition.
For the record, thanks Jolly for being a premiership ruckman, but you are <snip - apparently not a person Carro would prefer to associate with. BBmods.> |

I'd like to see an end to the constant Jolly Hate from supporters and CFC Staff, remembering that these players are paid employees. |
Clap and cheer. Great post! What people must realise is that without Darren Jolly we would not have won the 2010 Premiership. End of story!
The meaness and short memories of Collingwood supporters make me realise why we have been vilified for so long. We are the bogan kings of the AFL.
As for Pendles. What a suck. _________________ Rain or hail, I wag my tail |
