Changes are being implemented for our long term good. Players not buying in may as well play elsewhere. We need to lift the bar as far as fitness & professionalism goes & I think that is what's going on at the moment.
For what it's worth I think it was fantastic that Pendles & Billy leapt to Bucks's defence. |

I can understand that.
I can understand also Jolly being angry, but his career was over should have gone out with some grace and not be a dick about things. Just how it is I suppose. _________________ Ðavâgé

Pendles has every right as captain to call Jolly out for his immature behaviour. As a premiership ruckman for the club you'd think Jolly would not be enjoying the decline of Collingwood. He's entitled to feel aggrieved about the coach but what about his premiership teammates? _________________ http://youtu.be/hvtdbfI1sqQ |

But I guess they have the freedom to choose what to comment on, anyway, hopefully we can move on from the negativity there and just focus on getting the team back on track.

Players voted for Pendlebury to be captain, he wasn't appointed by the coach at all. |
The Jolly comment was just an example used to demonstrate that comments of disgruntled past players aren't reflective of the current player groups sentiments. Easy to cite Jolly because he's always in the media having pot shots. As the article said, says more about the disgruntled ex players than it does about the club.
Personally, I have no ill feeling toward Jolly, don't think he's handled his retirement well, but that's a different story. |

Yes, I love Jolly. I just wish he'd keep his mouth closed. |

I dont think he has "lost the players". I just dont think he has the ability to inspire, to instill confidence, to get the best out of people as a coach. |

Maybe the players he "lost" have left. |

Well, possibly so - but since, apart from Beams and Wellers, Collingwood has emptied out or let go all of the others, the list of players "lost" would be a very short one. |

It was a great read. No doubt the club put the players up to talk, but their comments ring true. I'm more convinced than ever we're on the correct path with Bucks and reckon we're probably only 2 years away from being a top 4 side again. |

Fairfax called the players according to the article, not the other way around.
Glad to hear these two blokes come out and say something from the players. |

Reckon Jolls biggest problem is his nagging, overbearing missus, hes running scared from her, you can just see it on the Block, talk bout under her thumb, man id last five mins with her. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Jolly is just a puppet for his wife. <snip - let's leave it there, shall we? Thanks, BBMods.>
While on the topic, isn't it good aussie battlers like the Jolly's have a chance to win hundreds of 1000's on a reality show. |
