Watched Dids tonight so happy to be welcomed back to the club.

Why wouldn't we engage him in some capacity as a forward coach in some form?

Maybe the likes of him and Daics cant impart their talents cos it is all natural God given. What dya reckon?

Interesting that after 11 rounds, Lumumba was 3 rd and Maxy 6th. It is no coincidence that as the form of these 2 fell away due to injuries etc. that our season pretty much went the same way in the second half of the season.

Yep, it was great to see Dids back (Swanny would've pleased too that he had a friend to sit with).

He seems to have come to terms with his retirement and his interview was one of the highlights of the night.

Can the club employ Dids so he can run around on training days........so when I see news footage of a Collingwood training session, I think he's still on the list?

..........If we could......the club would be taxed!!!

Bugger it, do it anyway.

Go the Pies!

It was great to see Dids recently at the Collingwood Forever function and last night at the Copeland albeit on-line.

We never had the chance to acknowledge and recognise his services to CFC.

It was tough for him to sort of finally admit and acknowledge publically himself that his body couldn't no longer do what he had captivated us over the years. Although he didn't say that exactly.

Great for Dids to be there last night.

We will always love you Dids and the memories will be with us forever just like they have been for Daics.

Some talented players step up when the big occasions require it - Dids was one of those. They don't always win on the big occasions because the game requires a team effort for victory. Other players don't step up on the big occasions but still get a carry from their team-mates to a flag. I know which players' exploits impress me more. I have nothing but admiration and respect for the way Alan played the game.
