Funny how the Brisbane fans are all over AFL trade radio and on the footy forum websites espousing the virtues of "pick 4 for Beams" being not only adequate, but in some case being "overs".

The tough guy jousting of Dean ("your job is safe Vossy") and Peter ("we shall win the 2004 Premiership: but came last") Schwab shall be more than humbled when it cuts to the deadline.

Wouldn't care if the Pies deal somewhat in an "ambit way" with the Gold Coast, irrespective of Dayne's/management's wishes thus stirring the pot a little a bit.

Thereby getting true "market value" for a player whom had 741 possessions and kicked 28 goals this year!!

One thing that's annoying is the comments about Collingwood being heartless about it. But its Brisbane who are taking advantage of the situation.

I mean come to the party ffs. Nowhere does it say we HAVE to trade our best (or second best) player.

We're not just going to give him away because of the situation. We're going to try to get what we believe he is worth.

But it's easy to blame Collingwood.
