on twitter fas just rejected the claims.

I fully expect Defender to say that he now fully expects Eddie not to have his head in his hands and to acknowledge that hypothecation from unsubstantiated rumours is a dangerous sport. Wink

great news, pathetic journalism.

not sure why, but i really want fas to stay. feel like if it all comes together, our team improves by a goal or two every week with him firing in it.

I like Fas and am glad he's staying. Signed earlier this year so the rumour did not seem very likely.

Fas has genuine talent and you can see the club wants to add some versatility to his game. He looked very good on occasion but had no continuity this year due to injuries.

Get on the track son, work your arse off and we'll see Fas live up to the promise he's shown and undoubtedly possesses. The upside for our side he could provide is massive.

Imagine a forward line of:
Cloke
M.Clark
Elliott
Fasolo
Broomhead
Karnezis

That would trouble most defences.

Apparently this didn't even start with Barrett, it was reportedly on SEN by a caller, and whatever Facebook page decided to report it as Barrett had said it. Seemed Barrett may have hinted towards 2 more players seeking trades, and someone took to SEN to assume Fasolo wanted to be traded back to WA.

'Tis what I've been told I don't listen to SEN, so I will just take that with a grain of salt as well but it's been posted by more than one person around.

Not pathetic journalism or any kind of journalism actually. Barrett never wrote it, nor did he utter it; it was a pathetic Facebook report.

yes, in fairness to barrett there was nothing of substance linking him to this report.

i was being mischievous with the op and really just mocking the ridiculous claim.

Not that I want to add fuel to the fire but were these Collingwood players and, if so, do we know anything more about the "hint" that Barrett "may have" given?

No faith in Barrett but Fas has some work to do to re-establish himself in the 22. If he wants out then I won't be too shattered. High 2nd round pick maybe.

If it is the great cleanout that is happening...well best we get it all done with in one trade period. Start fresh 2015....with what is left that is lol.

Had a look at the 2010 premiership club photo, with every one on the list.
Of 48 players, only 13 remain. (assuming Harry and Beams are gone). 12, if Fas is going as well. That is some turnover for a club which has just won a premiership.
