Flog Barrett in his defense has said nothing of the sort and I haven't seen this substantiated anywhere as yet. |

This plus the fact Barrett is a rumour mongering kunt makes me think this is bullshit but then again I didn't see Beams leaving either. |
A lot has changed in a year. Faz was coming off his injury and was probably on track to playing some solid footy for us. Then between being a forward, then defender, injured again, then forward again whilst being demoted to the VFL probably has him shook about where he really sits in the scheme of things. Broomhead arrived for us and brought the disposal and flair of Faz, with the added advantage of being twice as quick. |

Just re watched this mornings 9 Sunday Footyshow again and Fasalo is not mentioned by Damien Barrett once.
About 30 mins into the show the only Collingwood trade talk by Barrett was about Beams

To be fair to Barrett he might simply be the victim of a hoaxer.
If he did say it then I'd be listening as he's one of the biggest news breakers in football media.
Pretty sure I heard on the Sunday footy show that there's a trade talk show (radio?) starting tomorrow or something.

And he wants out to where? North Heidelberg? Couldn't see an AFL club being interested.
But if the rumour turns out to be true, Edd must have head in hands thinking 'WTF have I done!' Even though we know his face has palm prints already.
Buckley needs to go now, it's as simple as that, how many more do we need to lose?

For all the doubt on Fas I want him at Collingwood. I was impressed with his defending in a couple games and I thought it was the making of him.
Im still of this opinion.

With the injuries over the last few years it is irrational that Fas would want out. His value at his point in time is not high and I cannot see a lot of clubs lining up for him due to his ongoing injury issues. I like the Fas and think he has a lot of potential but he needs to lift his work rate, further develop the defensive aspect of his game and put in a solid preseason so that he can put in a solid season on the field. Fas has a bit of flair, X factor and self belief and is a potential match winner if we can get him to realise his potential.
Guys like Fas needs to take the next step if our team is to start working it way back up the ladder. |
