Scenario 1:

* Beams to Brisbane, pick 4 and Redden to Crows, Dangerfield to Pies

Scenario 2:

* Beams to Brisbane, pick 4 to Pies & P. Hanley (worth considering)

Scenario 3:

* Beams to Gold Coast, pick 7 and either: T. McKenzie/C. Dixon or T. Lynch especially if we miss out on Dees M. Clark

Scenario 4:

* Beams for pick 4 & 15 from Brisbane (after they trade their pick 22 down to a lower number to satisfy Pies).

Scenario 5:

* We keep him.

I'll take door No.5 thank you very much good sir!!

Any of those except Dangerfield I reckon are distinct possibilities. If we lose him I don't believe we can afford to bring in another youngster that has to be developed. We need a player in the 75+ games mark that is on the cusp of elite or already above average. Our age/experience profile has tilted waaaayyy too far... and if we lose Beams we must replace him with something close in experience and ability. Draft pick is nice but really we all know the amount of variables associated with draft picks are too great.

Dangerfield or bust. He's as good or better than Beams, and losing a Top 10 player to gain a top 5 player is fine in my book.

Pendlebury + Dangerfield is a great start to an elite midfield. Now we just need to find the next Dane Swan because I don't think the Painted Man has too much left in the tank (sounded quite sad on the Footy Show when talking bout all his mates leaving.)
