Watch out for this guy....he has been up in the draft twice but overlooked but he is absolutly killing them in the midfield in the WAFL for Subi...he is all class..I for one would love to see him in the black and white and in our midfield!

Overlooked in 4 drafts. Don't think the same could be said of any other Brownlow winner. Well done to him. A bit of a surprise, but this is one out of the blue win that I think's deserving.

Yeah....was finally picked up by West Coast in 2006, played a couple of games but was still playing for Subi and won the Sandover with the highest amount of votes in the history of the medal....knew he would be a consistent midfielder wherever he went....after watching him in the WAFL he showed he was mature and a "smart" footballer. Very happy to see him win the Brownlow, not only because he deserves it, but also because he will now demand the respect that he always should have been shown...

Great call Northern Pie. Perhaps the club should put you on the recruiting payroll? It's hard to fathom how our recruiters can sometimes get it so wrong. |

First player off the rookie list to win a Brownlow Medal. Nice work by Priddis.
Not the first, and won't be the last player that clubs overlook that will be a gem with hard work and good development. For every player we miss we find our own gems as well.
Just good on Priddis for winning the Brownlow, very good season and hope he has many good ones to come. It is sad we picked up a few players that weren't that good, but it happens every season for every club really.
We just have to hope we get more gems than spuds.

I think that dodgy ex-carlscum player mentioned Priddis had the most touches in the comp this year and 3rd for tackles - that is a great effort doing the hard work both ways!

always thought he got a heap of the footy but did not much with it.
Never thought he really hurt us in games.................until this year.
The first game against us this year he was just about unstoppable and damaging. The games I have seen him this year he has hurt teams with possession and use.
said to a westcoast mate a few weeks ago that I thought he was a much better player, didnt think he would win the brownlow however Im not surprised he did.
