Just asking since we need to reduce spending on our football department, do we really need to go out and get another ruck coach? Grundy and Witts are coming along well with or without specialist ruck assistance. Why not pay Tapping a bonus for the excellent job he did with the VFL side?

How can you say Grundy and Witts are coming along well with or without specialist ruck assistance? Clearly they have had specialist ruck assistance in the past 2 years and have come on leaps and Bounds. How did you come to the conclusion that they would be at the exact same point of development had they not of been coached by Hudson?

I'm going on what Barassi says that footballers learn all the technical skills of playing football at junior level and technical flaws can't be corrected after they become senior AFL players.

Well that was a right waste of time.

I suggest we try and get a Collingwood legend in Monkhorst as ruck coach. After all he has turned a Collingwood reject in Ceglar into a star.

Ceglar was a more than handy footballer when he was at the Pies, 2 more preseasons and some senior exposure and he was always likely to progress. Still a long way shy of being a star though. Conversely, Monky has turned one of the best rucks in the league (McEvoy) into a VFL player. A bit of balance and perspective... just once... can't be too much to ask.

maybe its the fact that Huddo didnt want to continue with us and wanted to move back up North.

Also im over this Ceglar talk, i would much rather have Grundy and Witts playing ahead of Ceglar. To me they provide the same input so whats the point of having him still here

I'd agree, Huddo retired initially to sunny Queensland, assume he's just decided to return.

A Mount Gravatt Vulture junior returning home.
Hopefully he open a branch of his proposed KPP coaching clinic up here as well.

If thru injury or suspension do we have a replacement.
White can do it in bits but a full game or games --I doubt it.

What about the guy that trained Monky? Still doing great things at the Borough. has got the most out of former Pie Freddy Flaps.
