Mike Sheahan pointing this out 'On the Couch' this evening.

What are people's thoughts?

Depends on the price of course but he has some serious talent, but also some serious issues with his physical and mental state.

Can't say I would be confident in our ability to handle his physical ailments.

Worth a punt for mine though.

Was watching it too(see separate thread)!
Clark without an 'e' btw, not Clarke with an 'e', we just let him go.

i doubt he would have a high asking price, plus if we can get him cheaply why not i say.

We havent had too much success with mature recruits but remember we got White, Young and co for next to nothing so it hasnt cost us anything and neither will this if we get him cheaply

Not too sure he fulfills an existing need but at the right price wouldn't be the worst addition to the list. Had some talent before injuries and mental health issues took a toll.

There is no way that he has magically been cured. I worry about his return and I do not think that it will end well. No Collingwood, not this one.

I would have thought he most definitely fills a big need in a legitimate goal kicker. Take some heat off Trav, and White only having to deal with the 3rd best defender would most certainly do better. Will release Reid to CHB where we need him most.

Have you seen our forward line? Wink

Have you seen the age profile of our list? Wink

He fulfills two needs if he's considered good enough and gets his body and mind right.

Those are a couple of big question marks hanging over his head that's for sure.

We resurrected Krakour's career, what's to say we can't do the same for Clark's.

He couldn't handle the pressure playing for Melbourne FFS, how's he gonna handle our crowds and expectations, and of course Nicks?

If he comes at the right price and the outcome of a medical is positive....I say go for it. He is the right age (26 I believe) can mark and kick goals. He would be a great foil for Cloke, releases white to play a more roaming forward role and as said by Az, Reid can can play down back but still swing forward if required.

If he passes all tests...make it happen.
