Don't think he's the answer. But if Lions were to let him go (as earlier rumored) could he be a gap filler if we miss out on a tall defender.
Down side:
Will be 30 in December.
Had an average year.
Plus side:
Can play FB and FF.

Love the Sauce, old fashioned thug who can play at either end and the crowd love him. But Brisbane would never let him go, they learnt their lesson with Bradshaw etc.

Reid & Brown - injury prone
Frost & Keefe - still developing
Moore - a baby
As for forwards,
White - unreliable
Gault - another baby
Cloke - potential superstar if he had support.
We need help back & forward. I'd prefer Frawley or if possible work hard to get Cameron. |

And Carlisle looked like Wayne Carey against us too. Doesn't mean we go and trade for him like he is the next Carey.
I'd be happy for us to look at a senior trade for a key forward or mid or running back. But we really need to stick with what we do best. Draft and develop our own talent. |

I had question marks against White and Gault. And said we needed a key forward! We have potentially 5 players for 2 or three positions in terms of key backs. Two seniors and 3 young back ups. Surely that is enough. |
