Man management at Collingwood under Buckley's reign is becoming a real issue. I hope he knows what he's doing.
If true & he wishes to leave then hopefully we can through in our 2nd round pick & end up with a late 1st rounder. Yes he comes with baggage but I can see a Port, Essendon, Kangaroos or Richmond interested.
I'll never forget his goal in 2010, it was the moment we knew we had won. |
I'm a massive Buckley critic but I'm not going to blame him for relocating head cases like Shaw and H. _________________ Defender...........

Which clubs would want him?
Tend to think he has no trade value.
I hope I'm wrong on this. _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |

The disappointing thing about H is that he hasn't evolved as a leader at the club. He is a senior player now, yet seems to create more issues than he resolves. That's not leadership in my eyes.
This appears to be consistent through many of our premiership players that are now senior. They haven't stepped up as leaders.
Maybe harsh. But it's what it looks like. |

Pushed out?
According to the article he is the one threatening to resign because the club is not doing as he wants.
I like H, but he is becoming a human headline. _________________ If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome |

Wow, can't believe this is happening. Seriously how the F would they be able to discover who drew on the picture in the first place?
If he leaves, he will leave with some sensational memories, just like Heater. He has been good this year without being great. At times has been a headless chook at times too this year.
themonk, great call on the 2010 grand final goal.... never forget him falling to the ground after kicking that. MAGPIE-nificent! _________________ Side By Side Forever |

He must be having issues with his own sexuality. Time to come out of the closet H. |

I heard he was banging Fuzzy, she goes alright, pretty sure they parted ways though. _________________ Defender...........

He has value, I'd be very surprised if we couldn't get a mid second rounder ish. _________________ Defender...........

Yes, pushed out, man management is managing people, treat them as individuals but have them focused on the same objective. As much as I thought MM was an average game day coach he was able to keep some really big personalities together. Obviously with many bumps along the way but he did do it.
I suspect that Bucks is hopeful of early draft picks again, if he can't get something suitable then I'm sure he'll keep H for another year and allow him to leave as a free agent, would we get a 2nd round pick for him then? I'm not sure. |

I wondered this as well. I suppose I'm a bit old school, but I can't see how anyone could get offended by the Mardi Gras comment.
If he was gay it would make a lot more sense.
Anyway glad flashman agrees with me let's get Sam Frost. _________________ "Still waiting for your call Caroline ... not a quote in sight. Don't ever presume to speak on Collingwood's behalf," |

If someone did that graffiti in many professional workplaces, there would be a witchhunt and they would be sacked. Its the 21st Century and like it or not, Collingwood should have dealt with it quicker and more harshly than it did.
I personally can't believe it was left up for any length of time. Whether I think its right or a laugh is not the point. Times have changed. We don't denigrate people based on their race, we don't hang shite on people for many reasons. There are legal barriers to doing so. It boggles my mind that a professional workplace simply allowed this to get out of control for an hour let alone any time longer. Football club or no football club, rules are rules. _________________ Get back on top. |

Harry's the Lisa Simpson of Collingwood, if there's nothing to complain about he'll find something, eventually. _________________ Defender...........
