We use to have a bloke play for us call Harry O'Brien, He was a pretty serviceable footy player and contributed to us winning the flag in 2010, At that time he more than held his own and was a good team player.

Over time he was replaced by a bloke I could hardly recognise at times. His name was Heritier Lumumba. This guy was a bit haunted by his past and seemed at times to be more concerned with social issues than playing footy. He did not seem as fleet of foot when compared to Harry and was more of a mid ranking player.

I must admit that I liked the old Harry a whole lot better. I don not need a footy player to play the role of my social conscience. I want footy players to play footy and not be seen to over react to things that were not meant to be offensive or were said in the heat of the moment,

If this is what floats Heritier boat then farewell. Hope he finds what he is looking for.

Don't we all. Good luck to Heretier. Things just are not right for whatever reason.

Always a loved premiership player.

Will be sad to see 'Harry' go.

We are years away from another flag now.

There wont be any 2010 premiership players left when we next challenge.

I think more MM Side has

If this is true, trade him and end our pain.

Over him and his semantics.

It's clearly affecting his football because he's a fumbling, headless chook most weeks now.

No way near the confident, assured footballer he once was.

Harry would be a great pickup for GWS. At 28 he still has 2-4 years in him and GWS seems to have a pretty good culture going. Plus Sydney would probably suit him. By the time Harry hangs up the boots, the GWS youngsters will have matured nicely. How well does Harry get on with Heater? Or West Coast if he wants to head back to WA.

Should be worth a decent player or a pick around the low 30s.

Love ya Harry, all the best wherever you end up.

I can see Mick having a crack, and why not, Mick knows what he's capable of, he'd also be a good fit for the Bombers-Tigers IMO, or any team coming into a window.

if he moves to sydney he'll be able to meet up with collingwood mates in march.

always admire anyone who plays in a collingwood premiership team but some players are more admired than others. he is not one of them.

Buckley has had so many players leave, soon I won't recognise the team. Swan must be next.

What's Lumumba?

It is nor hand, nor foot,
Nor arm, nor face, nor any other part
Belonging to a man. O! Be some other name

Harry will probably end up in our top 10 at the Copeland again this year. I know he is not elite but this is another experienced senior player being pushed out.

Man management at Collingwood under Buckley's reign is becoming a real issue. I hope he knows what he's doing.

If true & he wishes to leave then hopefully we can through in our 2nd round pick & end up with a late 1st rounder. Yes he comes with baggage but I can see a Port, Essendon, Kangaroos or Richmond interested.

I'll never forget his goal in 2010, it was the moment we knew we had won.
