nice of Eddie to decide there will be no more Cheer Squad. i say bring back the Grog Squad. Less corporatisation and more organic supporter led barracking.
i am glad the ridiculous banners from this year are being XXXXcanned. i hope the skiphop dancers go with them.

Because I no longer attend games, I haven't seen any banners nor do I know anything about the skip hop dancers, kiss/hug cams, so half the time I have no idea what y'all are talking about!
So I cannot comment on them, all I know is our CS looks dead on TV, it was never like that!

I've got a few suggestions... albeit 1 controversial.
For Collingwood home games, like what Essendon do at Etihatd, the Ponsford stand could be renamed the 'Jock McHale Stand' and when you're kicking to that end, it's known as the Jock McHale End.
Also, that big bloody banner that reads 'Collingwood domination, the envy of the nation' would look good suspended from level 2 or 4. |
