Big White Ski Resort is Canada’s favourite family resort.
Just ask Collingwood President Eddie McGuire.
McGuire took his wife and two sons across to what he calls his “favourite holiday destination,” and encourages all Magpie fans to follow his lead.

What's going on here? Eddie using the club's web site to do endorsements for commercial holiday destinations? Why? What's in it for the club? (and the members/sponsors who are paying for the web site). Does Eddie get freebies out of this? I note that Big White Ski Resort is not listed as one of the club's Partners (ie. sponsors). |

Well if Ed is getting his next holiday free or at a significant discount because of this little advert then the OP has a point.
Do us common folk get the same deal?
P.S-I must admit I do always laugh when you see a tweet by a footballer saying they've just enjoyed a meal at so and so's because you just know a free meal is coming there way.

If Ed gets a cheap or free holiday by plugging this joint thru the pies site then that is probably under paying him for the work he does without salary.
Of all members and supporters surely Ed has some credits in the banks.
And, knowing Ed the club is more than likely benefiting in some way.
