Seems to be unhappy at GWS according to ongoing rumours through 2014 and has had little game time there over the last 2 seasons (8 games). Pies were linked (like all out of contract players) but seems difficult for us to conjure a deal, given our likely commitment to D Moore!

Any deals you can think of?

Do we want to take all of their worst players? We already have Adams. O'Rourke's only played 9 games in two years and averages 11 disposals. On those stats I'd offer Tony Armstrong.

Common sense AN_Inkling:

Averages 26 possessions in the NEAFL, was pick no.2 in draft, only 20 years old and don't knock Adams he shall be Luke Ball with pace an kicking depth

I was only joking.

On O'Rourke: I like that he's 188cm and was picked 2nd in the draft. Haven't seen him do much besides so wouldn't have a clue who we should offer for him if he wanted to play for us. I don't think we have too many surpluses at the moment. If we signed Frawley then a KPP could be offered.

He must have had something to go at pick No.2 originally though the drafts were still compromised at the time I guess because of the concessions to GWS and GC like the mini drafts of the best 17 year old so his worth in any other year might have been more like 5 to 10.

He will be a good player in the future, not sure what to offer though as high pick would normally require something good but considering lack of game time it could reduce the quota so could try 2nd round pick if not wanting to lose any players

And even though we're getting closer, not every top pick makes it. Jordan Russell, Tambling, Cale Morton, Toy, that West Coast bloke who's already retired.

I'd be happy to have O'Rourke if our recruiters thought he was good enough and the deal worked for us, but I know little about him myself.

16 premierships now in the history books. Let's be the first club to 17 premierships.

Maybe he has been tanking for an easy trade... I know that's what I'd be doing if I was drafted by a club I wasn't really interested in playing for Wink

Heard on th couch last night Geelong have offered Frawley a 5yr deal. Scott refused to confirm other than saying Geelong always looked at ways of improving there lists either via drafting or trading.
Lock it in now Frawley isn't coming to collingwood.

If you think Adams is a dud, mate, you know sweet FA about footy. Period!

Gumbleton was a pick 2, as well. And he's just retired. They don't always work out.
