Tick. Witts has been one of the big positives this year. He passed Grundy, though i hope and expect there is space for both of them.

How do Hawthorn end up with Ceglar, McEvoy and Hale?

Recruiting must be reviewed, we have fcked up big time.

Grundy is better the Hale and Cegalr

He might one day end up better than Hale but he and Witts aren't there yet.

Neither are better than Ceglar either at this stage but more advanced than he was at the same age you'd think and hope.

Ceglar is keeping out prized recruit McEvoy in a team who'll finish second on the ladder.

Respect.

I think Witts and Grundy will be good, not saying they won't.

But, how about some backup and competition for spots. The cupboard is bare. Hale and McEvoy in that team and they take Ceglar as well? Smart.

One of those 3 would have been very handy for us this year. Especially Ceglar and Hale as they are handy forwards.

On exposed form in 2014 but both fantastic prospects.

Big call, Witts has improved out of sight this year, and the scary thing is he isn't anywhere near his peak, ditto Grundy.

Agree. Witts clunking a few big contested marks Friday night shows he continues to improve his game but both Witts and Grundy still very young in ruck terms.

Had to go out, but saw first quarter. Wow. That was good and much better than expected. Signs of hope. Sorry to see they did not follow up for full game, but hope that when they can a return to the top echelons will occur. Bring it on. Go pies into future years.

Blair gets the last goal that keeps him the team for Rnd 1 next year.

Jesus Christ, will people [snip] off with the Blair-bashing? He's not the sole reason for our slump this year, by a long shot. But people do need a scapegoat, don't they? I thought our motto was Side by Side. Apparently it's Side by Side when we're winning, but Throw a Player over the Side when we're not.
