The guy can mark the pill like not many others going around.
Sydney are not letting him go unless for something VERY special. |
And who does Sam Reid replace out of Franklin or Tippet? |

How many times does it have to be said, you can't package average/good players or flawed players or past their prime players for an A grader or possible A grader.

I would generally agree—if a deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is—but I wouldn't say this is such a crazy trade. Brown is one of the competition's premier defenders when not injured, and Lumumba's a handy player to say the least. Yes, he's in his 10th year, but he's hardly Methuselah. I almost wonder if that'd be a better trade for the Swans than for us. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

I'd like to think the Club isn't silly enough to trade it's best tall defender for a forward who averages a little less than 1 goal per game. The Swans would jump at this offer. |

Since he signed that big contract couple years ago he has done bugger all (injuries haven't helped).
Look at his stats this year, pretty underwhelming for a bloke his size. |
Agree. Great talent but goes missing far to often _________________ Fault finding is like window washing. All the dirt seems to be on the other side.

The time when deluded fans dream of off loading our trash, for someone else's treasure.....
I will admit, the dream came true once when Freemantle handed over solid gold bars for Taz...but not every club recruiter gets high on those fumes! |

it's supply and demand:
No Luke McPharlin next year, Michael Johnson on the age wane, A Silvagni being a dud and Zac Dawson ...... (no explanation needed) means Freo needs a key back and they struggle to attract recruits west despite lofty offers to:
* T Cloke
* H Taylor
* J Riewoldt
* B Goddard
and only attracting duds like Gumbleton and Sylvia mean that they are "desperate". Added to the fact that Ross "hates bottoming out", Freo has only 1 more year in the "premiership window" plus his past interest in N Brown (Luke Ball deal) means I wouldn't rule the deal out! _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

Brown and H are not "our trash". If Brown were fit, he'd be one of the first 10 picked, every week. Face it, even after he injured his shoulder badly, he remained one of the first picked every week, despite the difficulties the injury presented, until he re-injured it and that ended his season. |

The twin factor too! As Mitch has signed a long term deal with Eagles and we know twins have a unique bond _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

This makes more sense- plus the added fact Har-Heritier is from WA.
Only problem is who the dockers would give up- would take Mundy in a heartbeat |

Too many people judge players on stats.
S.Reid - close to the best hands in the AFL. _________________ "I am a great sage, equal of heaven.

That's a premiership player you are besmirching there; such disrespect and such a callous putdown. Also inaccurate. The word 'headcase' says a great deal about you and your view of the world. What a digraceful posting. _________________ After the epic draw comes the decisive knockout!

I meant as a figure of speech, öur run of the mill standard 22 players week in and week out with being stars players. But yes "trash"is a tad harsh i retract that. |

Stick your faux outrage up your arse. You don't know anything about me so rather than make a judgement on you i'll simply say Go **** Yourself. |

This is good for us in every way and I wouldn't mind throwing in Fas as a sweetener because he is a nothing player. I will admit if your goal is to be a millionaire then buy Fasolo for what he's worth and then sell him for what he thinks he's worth.
I wouldn't mind seeing the back of Bill Davoren either because we can't achieve anything with an unfit and injury prone team. Giving him another year would be a joke. _________________ Happiness is being a Collingwood Football Club Member! Euphoria is watching the Pies win the Premiership! |
