Hi folks,
I'm putting it out there now - I have zero minutes available to tally the votes this year as I'm in the process of winding up work and house and moving overseas. For those that don't know I've done it the last two years and really enjoyed it, and would definitely do it again if I wasn't flying out of the country next Tuesday.
If someone please put their hand up I'd be grateful, as would all other Nicksters.
Cheers! _________________ McRae for Governor-General! |

Now that he has served his suspension in Europe, David, he's moving back into his seat in the Posting XXII coach's box. _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |

Just thought I'd let everyone know that I've started counting the votes. Already up to Round 5.
Will be a fascinating contest this year. Six-time winner Dane Swan struggled throughout 2014, so there's a good chance for another player to win his first medal. It's hard to believe, but Scott Pendlebury is in that category—he's finished second for the last four years running and is well overdue a win. Other contenders include some people's Copeland favourite in Steele Sidebottom, and 2012 winner Dayne Beams. And who knows? In such an inconsistent year, perhaps someone can come from left-field and claim it.
I'll be posting votes very soon. Stay tuned! _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Just a note to say that, although it's well past my bedtime and the text on the screen is all starting to blur into a grey mass, I've finally tallied the votes for each round. They're now being transferred to a safe in Switzerland, along with my life savings that the nice fellow in the email said he would take good care of. All will be revealed later this week! _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

David normally I would have been worried by this Switzerland move but I am glad the gentleman in the email assured you I sincerely hope he was from nigeria as they are very trust worthy bunch.
On a lighter note any chance I can get the finishing places prior to anyone else to make some small wagers with other nicksters. The winnings will be used to restock my dwindling supply of Penfolds 407 which has been used for both celebrating and numbing purposes during the season. |

Not trying to give anything away here, but all I'll say is that if TAB are offering a Clarke/Hudson/Martin/Yagmoor quinella, I'd jump on. Sensational odds.
Re: the email. I don't remember the exact details, but I think he said there was an air crash and that he was the only surviving member of the royal family. Seemed legit. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

I had Clarke and Yagmoor in my top 3 but thanks for the heads up on Martin and Hudson. I'll take a little dip at that quaddie.
That's a terrible tragedy to strike the royal family. I wonder if we should commence a fund raising campaign to assist him through these tough times.
Maybe we could send him the spare room in our salary cap on behalf of the club |
