Jolly is still unhappy on how his AFL carrer ended.
And it is clear the he truly hates Buckley with a passion.
Time to get over it Jolly! _________________ BLACK n WHITE

Jolly's body was heading south at a quick rate - Bux was probably keen to keep a big guy around with experience to back-up the kids however jolly had been very patchy since 2011 and Bux made the right call.
The club will reap huge benefits next year and beyond with Witts and Grundy... _________________ Love us or Hate us... we are Collingwood - you can't ignore the Mighty Magpies!!! |

Yeh Bucks did make the right move on Jolly.
And we have got 2 young gun rucks on the list + Mason Cox COULD be anything. _________________ BLACK n WHITE

After catching Jolly on the ads for the Block under the thumb of his old lady (who may be related to Bertha?) I can understand why the guy has a lot of issues and spews out vile and hatred etc... _________________ Love us or Hate us... we are Collingwood - you can't ignore the Mighty Magpies!!! |

Disappointing that Jolly is continuing his tirade. Sooner remember Jolly for his heroics in the 2010 GF. Time to move on. |

No need to blame Bucks. He should remember not one single other club wanted him either. _________________ #TEAMBUCKS

Bucks made the right call on this one. Jolly needs to get his head around the fact that his body was giving up and it was time to move one.
This is just plain old sour grapes. |

My dad is a 60 year old concretor with dodgy knees from playing footy, he's still struggling along. If he does it, then I think "Daz" will be alright. |

Post subject: Darren Jolly: 2014 "The Biggest Loser" perhaps?? | |

I am staunch in the opinion that "never" should an olive branch be handed out to Darren Jolly to ever return to the Collingwood Football Club. 12 months later the vitriol still exists and the non acceptance of a forced retirement that was well and truly necessary.
Having seen his last 3 reserves games it was obvious that his:
* non leap
* slow movement
* dodgy knees
had reached their culmination, plus the combined development of Witts and Grundy.
Darren! For a person who held out on the Swans twice for lucrative deals, then left due to his wife's depression on compassionate grounds and secured a 4 year $500,000 deal with the Pies. 3 that were well earned and justified, the last not so much. You have a petulance, sour grapes and a pathetic disregard for the club that provided a forum and platform for you to pursue outside footy pursuits. Such as that classy, nightly and socially enhancing TV show "The Block: Glasshouse".
I guess Darren you have form. You critiqued Neale Daniher scathingly in your Age article. Hardly endeared yourself to your 2013 teammates with your self-serving pay out on Josh Fraser's lack of "relationship building" with you when you arrived at the Pies. Plus have largely have failed to realise that NOT 1 club was prepared to select you/rookie you in the 2013 draft/trade period. Yes Darren 18 clubs formed the same view as Eade and Bucks!
Was your exit interview that much of a shock??? Hardly given you were left out of the Port finals match in preference to Grundy. No Darren what you come across as is a "me me" guy that derived great $$$ out of this industry and were unable to accept your football mortality!!!!!
Best of luck in 2015 when your on the "Biggest Loser" reality series. _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |
