It is literally dumbfounding eh? |
It is pathetic
Martin may or not be a player
But at least play him for a few games |
And how much game time did Buckley give him? 3/4-s/o, then 1/4-s/i?
How generous of him. And one half the forum wonders why the other half of the forum wants him removed... |
Correction
He gave him one half and then a quarter
Can't have the truth being distorted

isn't he on the rookie list? Therefore cannot play unless promoted due to another player getting put on the long term injury list. in any case, I'm sure he'll be put on the senior list next year. _________________ RED "BABY" CAVANAUGH: Didn't hear what the bet was.

Because he subbed off a player who was having a horror? Seemed the obvious move. Or was it that he made a very marginal player our sub in the next game?
Martin's a Rookie on our list, one who's not very likely to last much longer, and yet there are posters demanding he play multiple four quarter games. Why? Because he's good at VFL level? What about our other Rookies like Yagmoor and Mooney? They've been given zero games combined, where is their march? _________________ Well done boys! |

Comparing Martin to Yagmoor and Mooney? That's a biased view ink, even for you. Martin pasted these guys in the VFL all year by all accounts.
Plenty of other guys have played horrible games since round 10 this year and haven't been dragged, the call for our best VFL regular to be given a fair chance of a few games on the run to show his ability at afl level is perfectly reasonable. _________________ Buon Giorno |

Whether Martin is an Afl player is not what I want to discuss.
The point is his Vfl form deserved a few senior games.
But our great coach gave him a small window to show his abilities
and then shut it really quickly. _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |

Usual pathetic comment.
So Hal what is 67 in the binary number system?
Or are you too dumb to know!
All bots would know this but frauds like you wouldn't. _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |

VFL form is only one consideration in selection. A player still needs to have the right tools to make a career at the top level. Kris Pendlebury won our VFL player of the year but is not an AFL player, Martin's not too much different though he is younger. Kennedy, Broomhead, Armstrong, Thomas, Adams, etc did not perform as well as Martin in the VFL, but performed much better at AFL level.
The fact is that Martin is right near the bottom of our list, it's nothing like a disgrace that he's only played 3-4 quarters for the year. _________________ Well done boys! |
