| Post subject: 2014 Injures will Hurt our 2015 Season as well |  |

We know that Both Scharanberg and Caff are gone for the 2015 Season:cry: but we also have these players going into the Pre-Season Injured:
Reid
Oxley
Adams
Beams
Marsh
Brown
That are some very good players that won’t have a Full Pre-Season and that would hurt the Start of the Season.
It’s very hard to see this but the Win Tonight does show that we have some good kids so hopefully we won’t have a Terrble Start next season.

DTM, why do you think Brown, Beams, Reid and Adams will hit pre-season with injuries??? They'll all be fighting for by the time pre-season starts.
Not sure about Marsh. Say you're probably right on that front.
IMO I don't think our injury profile will be that bad when pre-season starts. Having said that when you start the year with two knee recos you are starting the year a long way back.

They may not be training straight away but those injuries from Reid and Adams won't keep them out for too long. I'll expect that they'll be ready to go by the time the pre-season games come around in February.

Adams has a 12-16 week injury? It's only a finger though so there's still plenty of training he can do.
Reid's in a similar position to Swan and Young. It's possible that any or all of these will have their pre-season curtailed. You'd think we'd play it fairly cautiously with all of them.
Then there's Freeman, when will he be back into full training?

Side note but relevant on the injury front, I had to have a chuckle whilst watching the shats and Dawks game tonight.
Geelong current best 22 injury list.

And what if our injury rate isn't just 'bad luck'? Davoran has to go, no ifs-no buts, if he stays and this shit happens again next year more than his head will roll.
