Pies MUST wear the Geelong jumper to win. If we wear B&W, we'll get slaughtered.

Hopefully we'll get Billy Elliott back, add Martin or Kennedy and might as well give the Q-stick (who's been good in the VFL) a send-off. Outs are Young, Swan, Caff.

God help us.

The hawks losing tonight is the worse possible result for us.

Man they are going to be pissed.

I doubt we'll beat the Hawks but all we can hope for as supporters is to see another spirited performance and for the effort to be present. The boys should just have the mentality heading into this game that there's nothing to lose so take the game on no matter what.

I saw this on BigFooty and this really does put into perspective how decimated we are at the present time assuming the likes of Toovey, Lumumba and Elliott don't return next week.

FB: Toovey Brown .........
CHB: Young .......... Lumumba
C: ....... Adams .......
CHF: Macaffer Cloke ......
FF: Elliottt Reid .........
FOLL: Beams Swan ........

I'm calling the club on Monday morning and offering my services... I'll show them the tape of my Dad's footy performance tomorrow!! Reckon I'm a shot?

I took a look before and assuming that Harry and Tooves (pretty sure he's definitely gone) don't come back we only have Kennedy, Lynch, Karnezis (he MUST get a shot this week), Martin, Gault and Seedsman who can be brought in next week. Can't imagine we'll promote Yagmoor or Mooney for the last game, surely.

I think we should all contact the club on Monday morning and advise them to NOT train AT ALL this week. It's the only way we can avoid any training injuries between now and next week.

The skill level difference - even allowing for the wet weather in Sydney - between our game and the Hawks/Cats game is just light years apart. I have no doubt we'll give our all but I fear what the Hawks will do to us. Mind you it looks like the Cats have ripped their wings off at the moment so they won't be playing for a top 2 spot but they will be playing to avoid dropping to 4th which would mean a trip to Sydney.

We can do better than that. Why not just make sure that all 22 players miss the bus to the MCG and forfeit the four points? Then there will be no chance of injury at all.

Oh wait, last week there was a Western Sydney player who was a late out the morning of the game because of an injury he sustained washing his car. No joke! We had better ban car washing too.

That's either in the VFL or in training. I can't remember us having any major or serious injuries on Friday night in the AFL.

Last time we played on Friday night was against St.Kilda in round 11 so it feels like a lifetime since we played on Friday night.

Hawks are looking likely to be resting up next week. Have come from 31 down at half time to be 21 up half way through the last kicking 9 goals unanswered.
Maybe next week they can rest a dozen or so and loan us 7 or 8 to make a game of it.
Ugh damn they look dangerous when they get on a roll.
Anyways I think it's more about how we play than the result.
4 competitive quarters is all I'm hoping for
