Didn't do a great deal to be honest and only had 12 possessions but for a first gamer you can't expect too much.
Just good to see him play a full match rather than starting as the sub. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

This is the Collingwood of the future.
Joffa came on this board earlier this week lamenting the demise of the old Collingwood spirit.
Well, suck it up Joffa. You saw it here today. Magnificent.
You and many others here (you know who you are) have tarnished the spirit of our club with your quick surrender.
Its not about you. Its about Collingwood. |

I think he did his ACL last time at this venue in a pre season comp playing the doggies. Poor bugger. |
Yes, very sad for him. Watching it happen, it seemed like more of a stress injury than an impact injury. So maybe he has a slight basic weakness there. Fortunately he only had two knees, so he'll be kitted out perfectly after this.
I was thinking, before it happened, that his time in the side might be a little limited, as he has never quite fulfilled the potential that I'd hoped when he first arrived in 2010. Hope he still has a career, but time will tell, and meanwhile hope his rehab is as good as it can be. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

Wow what a win so proud of them
JT fantastic
Blair proved that Buckley is a far better judge of players than half of Nicks
Broomhead wonderful great potential
Ramsry now i see what the VFL watchers have seen
Grundy did really well
Witts can take a mark
Langdon is a ten year player
Frost same as Langdon
Ball showed courage and leadership and why he should get a contract for next year
So good to win

While the injury toll continues at least we saw a glimpse of our future.
A few of our more experienced players who played tonight should take a long hard look at themselves after this.
Congrats boys enjoy the win |
Which experienced guys out there tonight are you talking about?
Did we have any one? |

JT..3 votes for sure. What a great game.
Annodam…..some of the experienced players should take a look at the guts shown by some of the youngsters tonight. Injuries are an excuse. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

Great win.
Can't believe people knocking our senior players????
Pendles, Blair, Sidebottom, Goldsack and Sinclair were crucial in that last 20 mins! Yes, Sinclair is no longer a kid _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

Gee there's a distinct lack of certain posters On here tonight, I though it smelt cleaner. Perhaps I'm just early.
I have to eat my words because I thought this team would get pumped today. Whe I saw swanny and young go down and the the caff (poor guy) I thought it was really over.
But what a pleasure it was to see our young guys beat another bunch of afl hand picked young guys with 1 rotation.
Was truly one of their more spirited wins under bucks today.
With so many injuries we fielded a side barely more experienced than gws. So calling out the opposition as weak would be ignorant and ungrateful for what the boys managed to do today.
Well done pies. _________________ No Pressure, No Diamonds
