Look, it was GWS, the competition easybeats - so it's hard to run about pumping the air - and yet ... what was so heartening was to see the sense of confidence and commitment from all the boys that represent our future. JT, Broomhead, Grundy (I've been a critic, but he was great tonight), Sinkers, Marley. Boys that have looked lost suddenly look like they might belong. Well done boys. I'm proud of you. There'll be a lot of pain to come, and we stil don;t know if our coach has it in him, but theree is much to look forward to.

Very very proud of the fellas.
That's the Pies spirit in spades.
They worked their butts off in an outstanding effort.

I think he did his ACL last time at this venue in a pre season comp playing the doggies. Poor bugger.

I hope all of you Blair haters will give it a rest please. One of the reasons they played our song tonight along with a lot of courageous and spirited performances.

He did his left knee in 2012, this time it was the right knee unfortunately.

Those senior players who have let the Club down in recent weeks need to watch this match.
They may well learn something valuable from these youngsters!

Wow couldn't be more impressed with the kids. Seriously had a dig and never tossed the towel in.
While the injury toll continues at least we saw a glimpse of our future.
A few of our more experienced players who played tonight should take a long hard look at themselves after this.
Congrats boys enjoy the win
