it would be one of te more logical reasons for his omission. i think only sinkers and fas had to have played vfl this week to qualify. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

Give martin 4 or 5 full games and if he is
no good get rid of him.
But no he has completed 3 quarters
that is enough for bucks
but blair the hack gets 100 games! _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |

He's shown flair, dash and attack and supposedly he's one of our young guns who 'll be bringing us our 2017-18 flags.
So his development gets buggered by playing him in the seconds for most of the year where he blitzes, then giving him stuff all game time in the ones by making him wear the green vest most weeks and then dropping him after virtually every friggin bad loss even though plenty of more experienced players were worse and have been most of the year.
Total bullshit and if he isn't signed yet it wouldn't surprise me if he was looking elsewhere. I wouldn't blame him at all. |
Agree. I can't understand why he doesn't get a full game and then gets dropped when we lose. He seems to be Buckley's scapegoat. Maybe there's a personality clash there? Who knows. _________________ A Pie for Life. |

KM sadly has shown nothing in 2 years.
He is behind BK, Broomhead, Dwyer, JT.
He lacks grunt therefore can't replace Blair, if he had X factor like Krakouer which we really need then he would have a chance.
I think you GREATLY over rate him given all the guys ahead of him. |

It's an indictment on the over-coached modern game that someone like Kyle Martin gets left behind.
On football ability alone, he'd EASILY be in our side week-in week-out.
But the modern game demands that everyone, even a forward pocket player must be an elite runner.
It's sad actually........... _________________ "I am a great sage, equal of heaven.

I looked at the team the moment it was announced and once again found myself staring, mouth agape at the idiotic selection policies. How was Martin dropped last week? How was Kennedy dropped this week? We are destroying the confidence of these young guns. It must feel like they're being blamed for our pathetic form.
If Martin & Kennedy go elsewhere they will be champions, at Buckingwood they'll be lucky to get a run in the green vest. Poor kids probably think Collingwood's colours are Black, White & Green! But it's just another area where we continue to get it wrong.
But maybe we're tanking, in which case go for it, we might end up with another pick 6 who can watch the games in a moon boot! _________________ "If at first you dont succeed...

I will never understand why Martin was not at least given a go this year! If he is not at the Pies next year I really hope he is given a go elsewhere because I love the way he goes about it and can lay a bloody good tackle for his size! |

Basically, Bucks and co. said that Kennedy is not fit enough to run out an AFL game, hence why he doesn't play seniors regularly. End of story. They clearly think he'll be a player, he just needs miles into his legs. _________________ Est. 2002 |

Yeah I have heard Bucks say this a few times, I still don't see the benefit in playing Kennedy as the sub so many times. Oh well, let's hope he has an injury free pre season and has a big 2015. |

Let's hope he doesn't have operations on both legs to deal with a potentially life-threatening condition again this preseason. |
