First time in 20 years not attending any AFL finals this year. Holidaying in Queensland for most of September instead. Booked $99 fares on Jetstar last week. Looking forward to getting away from Melbourne winter weather as well.

Get to sit back and enjoy finals with some impartiality.

I'll probably do the same. My impartiality will stem from my equal hatred of all the other teams. But if the Bombers make it I will be barracking for their opponents.

Yep totally agree. That would be an unmitigated bloody disaster.

They are the very last on my wishlist of potential premiers this season.

Actually starting to think I'd like Freo to go all the way this year, mainly because all their supporters are locked away in WA and I don't know any so wouldn't have to put up with their shoit.

Hawthorn, Geelong and Essendon at the bottom of the list.

I said that last year, buggers let me down Sad

I'll be working like Trojan! No holidays til November now

Yeah, I'm kind of happy to go for anyone but Hawthorn and Geelong. Maybe Richmond could win? That'd be entertaining.

I'm not going to be able to get away, work will be busy, so I'll just enjoy some hopefully warmish spring weather and get into the garden, do some stuff around the yard and listen to footy on the radio.
