Singapore Grand Prix. I've been hanging to go.

NOW there is an idea!

I'm haninging to go to Spa and Monza, too! Also the LeMans 24hr and the Isle of Man TT are on the bucket list.

I'd love to do those 2 as well as Monaco. I'd really like to take a year off and do the GP season. That's a dream I've had for a long time. Good to find another motorsport enthusiast on Nick's.

So I've been looking... airfares, tickets, accom should come to about 3.7k.

Tickets: $1109 (corner 1-2)
Airfares: $950 odd
Accom: $1657

I may just do it...

That doesn't look to bad.

A very long ride on my motorcycle.

I'm considering an outback adventure

Get to sit back and enjoy finals with some impartiality.

I'll probably do the same. My impartiality will stem from my equal hatred of all the other teams. But if the Bombers make it I will be barracking for their opponents.

Yep totally agree. That would be an unmitigated bloody disaster.

They are the very last on my wishlist of potential premiers this season.

Actually starting to think I'd like Freo to go all the way this year, mainly because all their supporters are locked away in WA and I don't know any so wouldn't have to put up with their shoit.

Hawthorn, Geelong and Essendon at the bottom of the list.

The same stuff I do all year, living a life, footy doesn't make any difference to me other than you don't have people on a Monday saying, haha Collingwood lost

I was thinking of taking a course in either being a axe murderer or suicide bomber. Either of which would be handy in case I at any time found myself in a lift or enclosed space with a large group of AFL umpires.
Seriously I will be spending my summer months preparing for my son going to university (getting mrs qldmagpie ready for a empty nest melt down)
We have had plans for a while to start traveling more frequently over seas when we had the opportunity so I may suggest a little trip to the Maldives or Caribbean

"being a axe murderer or suicide bomber."

Great, now Pine Gap are all over this website and will be formulating ways to screw Collingwood next year.

Not really a holiday but my daughter represents VIC in the Baseball & Softball every year.
The B/ball tournament is always held on the last week of September (BNE is hosting this year) & then off to ADL for the Softball (Labour Day weekend in SA).

Luckily for me my footy fix will continue for a couple weeks after our season finishes because my WAFL team is currently looking highly likely to be minor premiers and hopefully will go on to be season premiers (one better than last year). Go the mighty royals.
