I am be watching the Game on Friday but we are No Chance of Beating the Hawks with just about our VFL/Reserve side.
We should be at least 1000/1 to win this game.
Just hope we put up a Fight and not make it too easy for the Hawks

We had a Team that was Miles better then what we have this weekend.
The only players that would play in that game and now are pretty much just Blair and Lumumba and Ball but that was 3 years ago and before he did his ACL

I'll be there as usual. I don't think we have a snow flakes chance in hell of beating them but it is the last game of our year and it has been a disappointing year for all concerned and especially the players.

With the Hawks well and truly focussed on a QF with arch rival Geelong the following weekend...?
With the top teams more often than not losing their last round of the home and away season because of point 1?

Pies 1-39 point win is paying $8. That's great value considering the dead rubber status of the game and likely resting of any Hawks with niggles and the fact they have to play 'bruise free' footy we're a bigger chance than that.
If the odds fall back to about $5 I'd give it a miss, but at $8 there's value there. Just don't bet what you can't afford to lose, because even after saying all that, it's not a bet I'd be jumping all over. From a cold, analytical viewpoint the Hawks are the last team I think we'd beat this week. |
