http://www.theguardian.com/money/2014/aug/13/joe-hockey-defends-his-poor-people-dont-drive-very-far-comments
Not your average Joe Hockey has lashed out at “hysteria” over his comments that the fuel excise increase will have the biggest impact on high-income earners*! because “the poorest people either don’t have cars or actually don’t drive very far in many cases”.
3.14..(Whn they go shopping they hire a taxi)
The treasurer (Not your average Joe)was seeking to reject claims low-income earners (less than average Joe's*) would bear the biggest burden from his budget.
Not your average Joe Hockey attempted to counter criticisms that the vulnerable, the young, the unemployed and those on pensions faced a disproportionate share of the budget pain... the less than average Joes
“Well, everyone (the average Joe) is being slugged and the fact is that someone on average weekly earnings is often paying all of their tax*
(*not to be confused with the Not your average Joe tax...or lack off), ...so they work say a third of the year, to pay family benefits to someone on less than average weekly earnings,” (again, none of that and not to be confused with>>>) Not your average Joe Hockey told ABC radio on Wednesday.
No concern at all that THE other "not your average Jo's" are earning wae and well over what the average Jo earns and are paying bugger-all tax and for the see-able future (3 years...max).
*!!The biggest earners, the not your average Joes will find the roads are less congested and the not your average Joe's seem very happy about that! (So happy they are announcing the building of lots more of them!)
Not your average Gina doesn't have to pay this tax, in fact she gets a rebate for the diesal she burns selling Australia by mega-ton.
The less than average Joe's can wait for a station and & train-line to be built) ...or they get a taxi and/or eat cake.
The less than average Joe's are less than unimpressed!

A shame, too—I was one of those people who misguidedly thought he wasn't so bad. Unfortunately, seems he's drinking from the same kool-aid as the rest of them. Unfortunately for us. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

He is the worst type of self made Millionaire.
He now looks at the people in the same situations he grew up in and despises those who haven't done what he did. So he thinks they don't deserve help if they "can't help themselves" yet he is the parasite. |

Can't see him making it to leader of the Liberal Party now, his failure to sell the budget might mean he won't be treasurer for long either. |

Joe the Goose. Seriously man, when you're in a hole stop digging.
Federal politics is starting to resemble amateur night at the comedy club. Just when we thought there'd be respite from the shambolic Krudd/Gillard/Krudd trifecta, this lose collection of smegma stains only seem to open their mouths to change feet. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Ummm, I'm not aware that this government has made any changes to the rules around 457 visas. Labor tightened them up a bit, and fairy nuff, but have they been changed?
I have a recruitment group working for me and as far as I know it's the same stuff. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
