We just got hammered by 10 goals, now isn't the time for humour.

Lions won by 76 but we all agreed it was a much better effort.

Was 67, comrade. Close. Smile

In : Martin, Karnezis, White, Scharenberg, Elliott, Langdon, Seedsman, Gault.

Out : Cloke, Beams, Pendlebury (not sure if that counts) Reid, Williams, Fasolo, Witts- probably Swan or Goldsack injured.

It doesn't matter whether we win or lose, only that we give the next generation Magpie youngsters senior experience.

It matters a bit if we win or lose.

We need to lose and I'm confident we have it in us

Not too much left in the cupboard. Pendles may return. Cloke, Beams, Reid and Elliott obviously out.

Cloke - Either White or Lynch in. Lean toward Lynch if for no other reason than to give White a very strong message.
Reid - Langdon
Beams - Pendles
Elliott - Karnezis
Lumumba - Seedsman although I'm not sure his form merits a senior call up.

As a loyal Collingwood member I will make my way to whatever stadium in Homebush to commiserate with my fellow tragics.

Lets hope the palookas don't use the opportunity to prove, like Rocky and Footscray that they are not a bum...gee it really worked for Footscray, didn't it?

The Cardinals have their wish, and our game against the palookas will be an empty rubber, would have been handy earlier in the season...

The palookas will fancy their chances, but at the end of the day they have as much chance of anything meaningful in this year or many years to come as winning the FA cup. A bum will always be a bum.

to quote the great J.J. Forbes:
" I don't know Wally, I don't care, I'm beyond caring"

How about now?

On a serious note, it would be in our best interests to lose this game. Concentrate our efforts on the VFL for a few weeks.

Have a look at this home page and tell me what is wrong.

If they can't get that right no way they'd be getting my money.

P.S-Anyone knows the odds on offer for us coping a 100pt loss to the hawks in round 23?

I wont give my tip yet, all I do know is, I shall be well armed with a Chivas or two, maybe three, depending on how the game goes.

ON more pressing matters, I have a 3 game membership, one too go, so should I venture bravely to the G to face the Horrible Hawks the following week. ??. I mean, if I go expecting a bad loss, if we don't do too badly, I wont be disappointed, right ??. Should I go or what guys ??

You'd have to be crazy like Breadcrawl to tip a win this week.

Judging by how well the Giants are going today as opposed to how we're playing I'd say we'll get shat on.

Glass half full or half empty? Sorry the fricking glass is broken. Start delistings and sackings now so we can talk about something positive.
