"perceptive fellow" = people complaining about how shit we are at the moment
'proper supporters' = people saying don't worry how shit we are at the moment, it'll all be ok soon
we're all collingwood supporters, so get off your high horse and just accept that people are, and see things differently. doesn't mean people love the club any more or less than you*
* this is aimed at everyone
if you're a collingwood supporter, that's all i care about. treat this shit season the way that helps you cope with it the best.
for me, i actually sit there and laught at the tv every weekend. doesn't mean i hate the team, i just prefer to laugh at how bad we are these days. beats yelling and screaming or placing myself in denial. |

Correction FWIW....
"perceptive fellow" = people, with hidden agendas and needs to see the coach fail dismally, eternally complaining about how shit we were at the start of the season and at the moment. Not listening to or comprehending many posters who have painstakingly, logically and rationally explained the reasons behind the slump. It meets their needs for the club and coach to fail, as it somehow confirms, validates and reinforces their perpetually pessimistic views.
'proper supporters' = people saying don't worry how shit we are at the moment, it'll all be ok soon. Giving logical and rational reasons for the current plight and intelligently debating issues with "perceptive fellow" who don’t WANT to listen because (as others have said) they are mainly bloody trolls. And most reasonable posters here hate frigging trolls.... |

i don't think any collingwood supporter hopes for the club to fail. if you do, you clearly don't know the meaning of the word 'supporter'.
i love bucks, but he's performing shit. i love blair, but he's performing shit. i love faz, but he's performing shit. i love collingwood, but we're performing shit. etc. etc.
no harm in pointing out faults. just ask my mother in law. |

Exactly right, totally agree with you. THAT is why I have repeatedly said on numerous occasions that IMO, these are NOT bloody genuine Collingwood Supporters but are frigging trolls.
Why aren't Nick's interested in getting rid of these bloody trolls?? |

Some may well be but I guess I believe (rightly or wrongly) that genuine Collingwood supporters will not be putting shit on the club and the coach all bloody season like posters such as Defender and Collie have....

Goldsack at CHF? Would whinge about that selection but when was the last time players actually played in the position listed?
Karnezis not selected? Is he match fit yet?
Dwyer selected? We lack experience and leadership so why not play some kid?
FFS people our side has been decimated by injury and 7 mandatory changes
Support the club and shut the **** up.

Someone please justify our selections? Because I think we could have done a lot better than what we've just listed as our selected side.
Scratching my head a little here. |
Ok, tell me who should be in.
I can understand people wanting Kennedy to play, but I'm sure there's a rational reason for him being overlooked. He's exactly the sort of player we'd want out there, I don't think the selection committee would leave him out for no reason. Then there's Karnezis, but he has had a lot of injury problems and is still surely lacking match fitness.
But others? I can't think of anyone who's close to a must for selection. |
Talking perfect sense and total logic to the eternal "perceptive fellow"?
You are one very brave poster AN_Inkling.... |
Not sure why I'm all of a sudden in your aim lazza?? Merely questioning our forward selection for this one game. (The first time I've done so all year) I thought they could have done better with karnezis and even lynch in the mix. Surely I am allowed to raise questions as to our selection as part of pre game selection without you jumping on me too.... I'm fact I've pm'ed you re this out of disappointment.
I stand by my selection issue, still think we could structured something a little more multi pronged in attack. _________________ No Pressure, No Diamonds
