Post subject: [Rumor] Fasolo bullying Young Players(Broomhead)? | |
|
Quote: | Actually heard the other day that Broomy and Faz have had a few run ins.
Today on MMM Luke Darcy asked Ed on the rumour mill about a rumour that Faz had been having some run ins with younger players and Ed didn't deny it. Said something along the lines of 'not everyone's going to get along'.
Didn't really think of it until now, but there could be some substance there...

This actually sounds like there could be something to it,
With Talk that Broomhead has asked to be Traded back to South Australia.
Could this because he is Getting Picked on?
IF True I would get rid of Fasolo as we don’t need his type at the Club

If he plays as badly as he did against Port last week, he'll be lucky to be in the seconds. Did about three nice things, including one very strong contested mark, but screwed the pooch more times than I could keep track of: looked slow and disinterested and consistently beaten one-on-one. Clearly our worst on ground, but I cut him a little slack 'coz I figured he might improve this week. _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |

Personally I'm a big fan of Fasolo, I like what he can bring to the table and how he's been happy to go back and work hard. He's maturing.
If he has been bullying another player it's not that difficult to stamp out but I'll reserve judgement totally until some facts get raised.
Some may have called Buckley grabbing Witts bullying, or Maxwell whacking Fasolo in the chest bullying. They'd be wrong but they may have still said it. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

If it was serious, I doubt Fas would have played on the weekend. Pretty pointless kind of rumour, as a "run in" could be almost anything. _________________ Well done boys! |

Put yourself in Fasolo's shoes: when he looks at younger, faster, more talented recruits like Broomhead coming through, he's looking at the players who are going to take his senior spot. You'd think he wouldn't like that. _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |

You might behave that way, I wouldn't.
And I do think Fas is seriously talented. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Shock, horror two teammates don't get along.
I'll take it with a pinch of salt but if Broomhead asks to leave just because he doesn't like Fas then he's precious and weak.
Bloody McLeod and Tyson Edwards despised each other but played about 200 games together after falling out and not uttering a single word to each other. Ditto Lethal and Don Scott.
If he wants to go home because of homesickness then that's understandable and fair enough but to leave over a dispute with a teammate (whose own place at the club is hardly set in stone) is just ridiculous and I personally don't buy it. |

Fas was shit on the weekend and is worried about more talented youngsters coming through, coupled with Sidey is inconsistent and easily replaceable I've heard it all now |

I thought Fas was good on Sunday and rate him very highly. He's shown glimpses down back, where his defensive efforts and attack on the ball have been impressive and up forward he's got elite finishing skills. Given a better run with injuries and he's in our best 22 but he needs that to happen soon.
As for this rumour if it's true then he needs a kick up the arse and be told to wake up to himself but nothing more drastic than that. Players having blues is common place and happens at every club. |

I think they should sweep this rumour under the carpet before the press brings it to a head. _________________ Buon Giorno |

Time to have an injury-free run first. |
