for all the conspiracy theorists who think the afl have it in for us, i see next year's granny is going to be on 3rd October. that can only be good for us.

Correct HB!
We've obtained 8 flags in October and 7 in September. Our last September premiership victory was in 1958 as well so it goes to show that October might be the better month of playing the Grand Final for our club. If we'd won in 2011, then I reckon we would been dubbed the "October specialists" by many people but it wasn't to be unfortunately.
